WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

This website is a clearing house for information about our efforts to create a center to treat and care for children suffering from many ailments that can benefit from the use of mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy (mHBOT). We have many testimonials and scientific evidence that shows children with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Shaken Baby Syndrome and other special needs can benefit from these treatments.

There are an estimated 74 million children in the United States. More than 1 million receive brain injuries each year and an estimated 10-15% have a neurological problem. HBOT is a safe, proven treatment for neurological problems and brain injuries. It can dramatically impact and improve the life of a child and his family. Due to the expense of treatments, which can be more than $20,000, and easily top $40,000, most children do not receive this life changing and live saving treatment.

Over the years, we have already helped many children improve and/or recover completely from conditions that would have otherwise crippled their lives and the lives of those that love them – their families.

Our Center operates a minimum of 5 state-of-the art portable hyperbaric oxygen chambers. Each chamber provides 8 one-hour sessions per day. Our chambers are the deluxe models, which has room for a child and an adult caregiver for each session. Many times, the caregivers also discover that their medical issues were cured. During treatments, caregivers tend to the needs and entertain their child. The chambers pose no danger. Patients wear normal street clothes and may operate cell phones and other battery-power electronic equipment while being treated.

No payments or donations are required for any child’s treatment. We recognize that many, if not most, of our patient families would be unable to pay even a modest amount. But our Center costs thousands of dollars per month to operate, and we look to you, the public, to make monetary or in kind donations. Even families who cannot provide funds can approach other family members, friends, church and civic groups, fraternal organizations, etc, who can help.
